This notice explains what we collect when you order from Lizkon Clothing or enrol at Lizkon Fashion Academy, and how we look after it.
Who we are
Lizkon Clothing Venture (“Lizkon”, “we”) makes bespoke, Made-to-Measure and ready-to-wear clothing and runs Lizkon Fashion Academy in Abuja, Nigeria. We are responsible for the personal information you give us through this website, on WhatsApp and in our studio. You can reach us by email lizkonclothing@gmail.com or WhatsApp +2348036134916.
What we collect
- Your name, phone/WhatsApp number, email address and, for deliveries, your address.
- Details of your order: the occasion, dates, your measurements, notes, and any inspiration photos you upload.
- Payment information: the amount, date and reference of each payment and any transfer receipt you upload. Card and bank payments are handled by Paystack; we never see or store your card details.
- For academy students: date of birth, address, education and sewing experience, a guarantor or guardian’s contact details, an optional passport photograph, and anything you choose to tell us about your health so we can keep you safe in class.
How we use it
- To make, deliver and follow up on your order, and to manage your enrolment and studies.
- To take and confirm payments, and to keep the records the law requires of a business.
- To contact you about your order or course, mostly on WhatsApp.
- We never sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Why we're allowed to
We use your information because we need it to carry out the order or enrolment you asked for (our contract with you), to meet legal and accounting duties, and, where we ask for it, with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. Health information is only used with your consent and only to keep you safe.
Who we share it with
- Paystack, to process online payments.
- The companies that host this website and its secure database and file storage, under contract and only to run the service.
- WhatsApp (Meta), which carries order alerts to our team and our messages to you.
- Couriers, only the details needed to deliver your parcel.
- Authorities, only where the law requires it.
Photos of you and your piece
The photos you upload are private: only our team can see them. We only show photos of clients on our website or social media with their permission. Photos of children are never published without a parent or guardian’s permission.
How long we keep it
We keep order and payment records for as long as the law requires for business accounts. Measurements are kept so we can make for you again; ask us any time and we’ll delete them, along with your inspiration photos, once your order is complete.
Keeping it safe
Information is sent over an encrypted connection and stored in private, access-controlled systems. Only named members of our team can sign in to see orders, and every sign-in is password protected.
Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to how we use it, withdraw your consent, or receive a copy to take elsewhere. Contact us by email lizkonclothing@gmail.com or WhatsApp +2348036134916 and we’ll respond promptly. You can also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Cookies
This website only uses the cookies it needs to work, such as keeping our staff signed in. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.
