How we teach

Learn by making.

01

About 70% practical

Every topic follows the same rhythm: a demonstration, guided practice, then a garment of your own.

02

Natalie Bray pattern drafting

You learn to draft from body measurements rather than copy, so you can make any style to fit.

03

Limited class sizes

No more than 30 students in a class, rotating between the drafting table, the machines and pressing.

04

Marked practicals

Every practical is marked. To earn your certificate you need at least 80% attendance and all practical work submitted.

05

Real client work

Advanced students and apprentices work on supervised client orders in our production studio.

06

The business of fashion

Every programme ends with fashion business and costing: pricing, client management, social-media marketing and basic bookkeeping.

Student work

Made by our students.

Final projects and practicals from our Advanced/Bridal and embellishment classes.
